50% discount on Passport from St Kitts: huge Success. Last month, we informed you of special relief fund raised by St Kitts authorities to counter the effects of the devastating Irma hurricane. A lot of clients have shown interest

14 January 2018

For those who missed it, this is what it was about:

Irma, the hurricane that laid waste to several Caribbean countries in September, has caused the St. Kitts to give a new meaning to the contribution raised in exchange of the island’s citizenship.

Indeed, the Government of St. Kitts has recently announced the implementation of a ‘Hurricane disaster relief fund’.

To speed up the reaching of the fund level contribution, the Government has also decided that citizenship through contribution would permit applicants to the citizenship to directly participate to the relief effort via their contribution.

In addition to performing a meaningful act of solidarity towards the inhabitants, the contribution will earn the applicants a citizenship at a reduced toll.

More prosaically, it is now a golden opportunity to obtain one of the most highly regarded Caribbean Passport at almost half the cost, with only 150,000 USD Government contribution instead of 300,000 USD for a family of up to four applicants.

What does it mean?

A family of four can now obtain their St. Kitts passports (four people*) with all costs included (Legal fees and Government costs) with ca. 200,000 USD instead of +350,000 USD.

At this level this investment appears to represent the less expensive programme in the Caribbean region at the moment.

It may also be a time limited opportunity, as the option has been implemented on an ad hoc basis by the Government to create a disaster relief fund to provide financial compensation to the population for the damages suffered following the latest tragic hurricane events of the past few weeks.

Therefore, once the fund level contribution envisaged for this cause has been reached, most expect the Government to re-establish the previous minimum contribution level of 300,000 USD.

What’s in for a contributor?

  • Visa free travel to around 140 countries including the Schengen Zone & now Russia
  • No language test required
  • No physical stay required
  • Dependent children up to 30 years of age & parents above 55 years of age included

  •
N.B.: * Any extra dependant after the fourth applicant, would attract an extra contribution of only 25,000 USD++ (Due diligence costs + Passport fees).
